At this early stage, our priority is making sure you have all the information you need to get started on your adoption journey.
Average time: 2 months
The focus of stage one is to learn a bit more about you and your history. At this stage, we’ll go through an information pack with you and ask for references.
Average time: 4 months
Stage two of the process will prepare you for becoming an adoptive parent. From meeting with the adoption panel to matching with a child, your social worker will be there to support you through this stage.
